Timing is everything here, and honestly it takes a few rounds before your thumb figures out the rhythm the game wants from you. The spinning log doesn't move at a fixed speed forever, so don't just fall into a robotic tap-tap-tap pattern and expect it to keep working. Watch the blades already stuck in the wood before you throw another one; clipping an existing knife ends your run instantly, which is the cheapest way to lose and yet somehow still happens to everyone at least once. Slow down when the rotation speeds up near the later stages, and trust your eyes over your muscle memory. A half-second pause to actually track the gap between knives saves way more runs than rushing ever does.

The setup is simple on paper, you're standing in front of a spinning block of wood, or sometimes a pumpkin if the Halloween skin is active, and your job is to plant enough knives into it to crack it open before moving on. Each tap sends a blade flying, and once the wood is stuffed full of steel it splits apart and the next round loads up, usually a little faster and a little less forgiving than the last.
